The full-time position of Bookshop Manager has become available at BOOKS Plus, UHW, Cardiff. The Manager will lead a paid team of 3 staff and a pool of approximately 40 volunteer counter staff. The role will involve responsibility for all aspects of running and managing the bookshop. This includes ordering and managing stock, marketing the product and the shop, dealing with deliveries (and supporting staff engaged specifically to carry out this task), overseeing cashing-up and till reconciliation, having responsibility for the computer systems, managing staff and liaising with and reporting to the management committee.
